Parental Guidance

I saw Parental Guidance the other day and it was way funny and I would so love to see it again. It had a great cast of actors and a funny story line. 10 stars all the way.
The only complaint I have is you can tell Billy Crystal had have way to much botox.
Artie and Diane agree to look after their three grandkids when their type-A helicopter parents need to leave town for work. Problems arise when the kids' 21st-century behaviors collide with Artie and Diane's old-school methods.

Director:

Andy Fickman

Stars:

Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei

DJANGO UNCHAINED

Sunday I was given to honor to see DJANGO UNCHAINED. I first have to say this is not my type of movie at all but my husbands type. It had lots of blood and violence in it but I actually have to say that it wasn't that bad of a movie. I don't really want to give to much a way about this movie so go see it.

The "D" is Silent. Payback Won't Be.-DjangoStoryline:Django (Jamie Foxx) is a slave living in the Deep South after having been separated from his wife Broomhilda (Kerry Washington). When Django is held for a slave auction, Dr. King Schultz (Christoph Waltz), a German bounty hunter who uses his former profession as a dentist as a cover, frees Django from his vicious masters, the Speck brothers (James Remar and James Russo), and gives him the option of helping him hunt down and kill the Brittle Brothers, a ruthless gang of killers whom only Django has seen. In return, Schultz will free Django from slavery completely and help find and rescue Broomhilda from the brutal but charming Francophile Calvin Candie (Leonardo DiCaprio), who owns Candyland, a plantation where male slaves are trained to fight for sport and female slaves are forced into prostitution. Django agrees, and the two go after Candie and the Brittle gang.

Runtime: 2hr45mins

Open Dec 25, 2012 (But I wouldn't go and see this type of movie on Christmas)

2 for 1

Yesterday I didn't post anything because the husband had the day off. Since the concert was canceled we saw a movie. A midnight screening of A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas. I thought it was really funny and I thought (Spoiler ahead) the part they made fun of Christmas store Tongue to the pole was the funniest part.. Today was Cookies with Santa at our local mall and it was super crazy and very unorganized. We didn't even get to see Santa and I wasn't about the wait in more lines just to get a over priced picture. Most of you know (if you don't you know now) I coupon and I have to share this great deal I got on pizza yesterday.
I won a free pizza, plus I had enough Papa points for free pizza.. :D

Friends with Benefits Movie

Deja Vu. Everyone will automatically compare Friends With Benefits with the movie released earlier this year with the same exact concept called No Strings Attached so let’s start there and get the elephant out of the room. While No Strings Attached was almost all about the sex, Friends With Benefits is more about the relationship. That may sound more boring to some people, but it’s actually more “real” and genuinely funnier. They are both completely manufactured romantic comedies aimed to the female demographic but Friends With Benefits is more in line with what people really go through and audiences will be able to relate to it more.

I really don't want to tell you about the movie. (Mainly because it would seem like I was coping every other review out.) I will just tell you that I love the movie and I really think you should see it.

Kari

I have another screening on 7/21/2011 for Crazy Stupid Love

Movie screening

From time to time I get free passes to see movies before they come out. And tonight I get to see Friends with Benefits. I will post what I think about the movie Tomorrow when I get the chance.
